"...This is a perfect haven just on the outskirts of Soller with an easy walk to the town square and very close to the biggest supermarket in town. The house is perfect and the amount of land it is on is almost unbelievable given it’s proximity to town ! Everything was clean, practical and functional, we had a great 10 days there !!!..."

"...Thank you so much for having us. We had a really nice stay. We arrived late and you were so kind to buy some wine, water, baguettes, cheese and ham for us. We enjoyed the very Well equipped kitchen and have been cooking every night. We will recommend your House and garden with all the nice lemon and orange trees and would love to come back..."

"...Julia’s place is set in a spectacular location with views across the valley to a dramatic mountain range. It is best suited to those who like being away from the crowds while still wanting access to good food and places for a drink (Fornalutx is just under ten minutes drive down the hill and Sóller fifteen). Julia and her husband Pepe are terrific hosts. They are both proactive and responsive and couldn’t be more helpful. The house itself is very comfortable with all the amenities you need when not in the centre of town (cooker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc). We would come again for the view alone..."

"...Thank you for a wonderful stay in your apartment we loved it. We had a great welcome, lots of local knowledge and a well stocked fridge with lots of treats for us all, perfect after a long day walking! The apartment is spacious and full of character. It's super central and we loved how it looked like just a small door from a side street but revealed a huge apartment once you went in! The wood burning stove was perfect in the evening when it was a bit chillier. Thank you so much for having us, it was a home from home!..."

"...This place is magical. We fell in love on first sight. Virtually everything is antique but very clean and classy. There are two amazing original stone sinks to wash the dishes in; one indoors, the other outside in the BBQ area (which was itself a complete joy). You'll have your own olive grove to wander through with a glass of wine, and if at the right time of year, fresh almonds to eat straight off the trees. We sat outside pretty much the whole time, looking out over the valley and feeling smug. The walk down to the port takes approximately two hours, and we'd highly recommend doing that. Shamefully, we didn't brave the trip back up after dinner but a cab was easy to find. The local town of Fornalutx was nothing short of breathtaking. The beaches that we visited (all within a 45min drive) were stunning. Crystal clear water, decent bars/restaurants, large pebbles that weren't *too* tough to walk on and provided good comedy value anyway. We were greeted by the most adorable mother-daughter team, who gave us great tips for what to do in the area. We also established (Hidden by Airbnb) comms from the outset so it was very easy to find them and ask Q's. The only issue we had was with the internet connection, which was too weak to use. Having said that, the 4G was fine. There are a lot of motorbikes on the roads over the weekend, which got a little noisy but only during the day. You most definitely need a car here! Highly recommend!..."

"...We had a wonderful stay here. The location is amazing, remote enough to be very peaceful and close enough to the village to walk down for a drink or visit the bakery. The view from the balcony is beautiful and we often chose to come back to the villa to eat dinner rather than find a restaurant. And being able to pick oranges for fresh juice every morning was such a treat. We'd never been to Majorca before and were so pleased at how beautiful the Soller valley is. The walking is great and there are a couple of wonderful coves for swimming and snorkelling, but you do need a car. If you looking for a chilled out holiday where you can gaze at the stars every night then this is a location for you..."

"...What a gem of a place! The house was absolutely perfect for us- we stayed for a week as a party of 8 and the house was very spacious to accommodate all of us. The photos do not reflect the size of the property. The location is also perfect- we loved the views of the mountains, but the house is also very close to the front at Port de Soller (which is also beautiful!) We loved walking back from the beach and enjoying a late afternoon play in the pool. All in all, we loved everything about our holiday at Port Soller and Julia was the perfect host, thank you!..."

"...I was so pleasantly surprised by the lovely property! The furnishings and decor was so tasteful! Very clean. Proffessional. Super location! Everything you could ask for was provided! The host was great, giving us tips on local businesses outside the tourist areas. I will recommend this place to all friends travelling to Palma who seeks a different experience than staying at the hotel complexes...

"...The house was even better than the description or the photos shown! This single family home is a veritable gem, with lots of amazing art and gorgeous touches throughout, and beautifully decorated too. The layout of the home is great, as long as you don't mind LOTS of stairs: the bottom floor is a garage through which you enter the house; the first floor is an ensuite-bedroom with a sitting area, the second floor is the living room-dining room-kitchen area, and the third floor is the second ensuite bedroom. The rooftop is a large terrace with a table and chairs and also two beach-stye lounge chairs. The home has every amenity you may need: fully equipped kitchen, dish ware, glassware, spices, etc. There are plenty towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc. It's in a great location, near Plaza Mayor, Plaza Coll, San Miguel, Sindicato, etc. Lots of cafes, bars, restaurants in the area, and the main road of the neighborhood is right there too, which certainly doesn't help in terms of vehicle or human noise at all hours of the day or night. We are not light sleepers so it didn't affect our stay much, just like the construction next door. If you are noise-sensitive, or if you don't do well with stairs, you may want to reconsider. Otherwise, book it as it's perfectly located in Palma and truly beautiful, and the evenings on the terrace are unforgettable!..."

"...We couldn't have asked for anything more from our time at this beautiful finca. It's secluded, there is loads of outside space (including about 4 different places to sit depending on your mood and time of day!), fantastic views and a cooling pool. Inside, the property has everything you could need, but as our visit was in mid-July we were outside just about all of the time. Fornalutx is a short walk - or even shorter drive - away. It's great having this picturesque village so close, but we found the grounds of the finca so nice we spent most of our time there. It's also easy to get to Soller and Port de Soller by car and very well placed for exploring the rest of the Tramuntana mountain range. Exactly the type of relaxing break we were looking for and Julia and her husband Pepe were great hosts. They introduced us to the property and were available throughout our stay in case we needed them..."
Our guest in Villa Pinares: July, 2018.Luci C in Villa Pinares
"...The Villa is lovely, has everything you need and just a short 5 min walk down (a steep walk back though up the hill) to the centre of the port with lovely restaurants. There were plenty of sheets, towels, washing machine with powder and bin liners, washing up liquid. Julia and Pepe communicated well and were great hosts. The building work opposite is nearly finished so future bookers can expect to utilise the lovely balcony with amazing views. Unfortunately our holiday was during the heavily cementing (by crane) directly outside our bedroom/balcony. The pool was a delight and much appreciated in 30 degrees as was the air conditioning (put on sleep during the night when it's very hot). The accommodation was clean, tidy, spacious for our family of 6 and had everything we needed. We would consider coming back, only when the construction work has finished opposite though..."

"...I found booking Casa Mirador very easy and Julia was very responsive. Prior to departing her partner, Pepe sent me a text message to touch base and introduce himself as the point of contact for our stay. This was great as we were able to contact him any time. On arrival to the villa we were blown away by the views and privacy of the plot. It was so stunning with lots of outdoor space and two separate buildings: one to sleep and one to lounge / cook. The little attention to detail was sweet, cold beers and fruit left in the fridge for us plus a bottle of wine for the evening. The interior of both buildings were rustic, simple and very classic. The kitchen is very cute and comes with an outdoor oven. It’s great for basic cooking and comes with pots, pans, coffee machine, lots of crockery. It’s probably not ideal to cook for more than 2 people unless you’re planning on using the lovely barbeque; the only reason we didn’t fire that up was because there were only two of us but it would be lovely to have cooked outdoors. The bedrooms were fine and spacious. We didn’t need to unpack really and used the downstairs lobby area to spread all of our stuff. We had plenty of space The bathroom was also cute and everything worked fine. The property also comes with an outdoor shower which we used during the day as it was so hot – it was a god send! Thankfully the host provided enough towels for the week. The overall cleanliness of the place was 5/5 which we were very happy with. A couple of things could be potentially be modernised for anyone spending more time at the villa or coming with kids e.g the shower which was temperamental, the lamp in the bedroom stopped working as it was very old, the lights in the lounge are too bright and could do with up lights to brighten the place at night. Julia and Pepe get a whopping 5/5 for being contactable at all times. Probably the friendliest and most accommodating hosts we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for mod cons or need baby/toddle facilities then this place is not for you. However, if you have older kids or are a couple/bunch of friends then this secluded, spacious, rustic villa is the place. It’s also great for cyclists as there is enough space to keep lots of bikes. We loved it and will be going back!..."

"...Julia and Pepe made a great effort to greet us when we arrived late due to a delayed flight. Food shops had closed but Julia and Pepe got us the essentials so that we had an evening snack and breakfast - this all free of charge! Pepe also answered all our questions swiftly and made sure we received extra towels and a beach parasol when we asked for it. The house is very clean and the pool is great. The only downside is that the house is warmer inside than outside during hot days. There is no ac (which we knew) but would be needed. Luckily we got an extra fan which helped during the night. The area is a place to unwind and relax, away from all the tourists on Mallorca. It is a long way to drive from Palma, with no local food shop, so make sure to stock up! The local restaurant is great and offers spectacular views. The beach is a lot closer than we expected and is one of few unexploited beaches on the island. It is beautiful, the whole area is. A true hidden retreat..."

"...This villa exceed my expectations in every sense - felt like a genuine home from home experience with the addition of fabulous views and a private pool! Photos on the website really don't do justice to the spaciousness of the rooms and the grounds. Perfect for families of all ages - we travelled with a 4 month old baby - the only slight issue was getting the pram up and down the steps. For that reason - I wouldn't recommend it for disabled / infirm guests. Perfect position for getting to the port / shops / supermarket - Literally a few minutes walk away down the hill yet when you are sitting by the pool - it's so peaceful and quiet! Julia and Pepe who manage the property are brilliant. They were so responsive and helpful - I can't thank them enough - perfect hosts. It's not often I want to return to a place...but this is an exception - can't wait to go back!..."

"...Amazing villa surrounded by lots og beautiful fruit trees and mountains. We especially enjoyed the outside dining area, the pool and the fresh oranges and lemons from the garden. Great hosts aswell that arranged a very late check-in for us (after midnight) and have been very attendend and quick to answer. Only things that doesn’t make it 5 stars for us was that we only had a few days of warm water in the showers - the rest of the holiday we had cold showers. Also they seem to have an angry neighbor that would yell at us to be silent already at 10.30 pm - just for laughing and talking in the garden. But overall we had an amazing stay and would have loved to stay even longer! I recommend!..."

"...Amazing house close to Port de Sollér! Supercosy and perfect for big families or a group of friends. It’s true that the house is even better than it looks in the pictures!! It’s really close to supermarkets, restaurants, the port and the beach but it’s still very private and peaceful. Julia and Pepe are fantastic hosts and we will definitly go back sometime if we get the chance. There are only two negative things we have to say about this house; 1. The house is in the shadow during the evening (the view is beautiful though) and 2. There are a lot of dogs barking at the neighbours houses which could be disturbing sometimes. The positive things are many more though so these two things should not be deal-breakers..."

I would recommend staying in this house if you want a chilled and relaxed holiday that is surrounded by beautiful scenery..."

"...Julia’s place is a lovely spacious villa in a quiet residential street with great facilities. Julia and Pepe are fantastic hosts and communicated well in advance, and the arrangements for meeting up and checking in were excellent. It is a short 5 minute walk downhill to the centre of Port de Sóller and is extremely convenient for shops, bars and restaurants. However the hill is steep so it won’t suit everyone. Being on the hill you get lovely views of the mountains. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating both on the front terrace and at the rear of the villa round the pool. Julia provides towels for both the bathroom and for round the pool. It’s possible to sit in the sun at the villa from early morning till early evening in one spot or another. There is a great shaded area with a dining table outside if needed. The villa is cool when it’s hot and we got it nice and warm on a cold rainy day by lighting the log burner using the wood provided. Julia and Pepe have thoughtfully provided everything you could need and we arrived to find water, wine, fruit, coffee and other staples in the excellently equipped kitchen. We enjoyed staying at the villa even though the weather wasn’t that kind to us and we would definitely recommend it. At the time of writing - May 2018 - there is building work being done opposite the villa which was noisy during the working day, but wasn’t a problem if we were out of the villa obviously, or if we sat round the pool at the rear of the property. The bedrooms are at the front however, so if you like to sleep till late then it could be an issue..."

"...Great place away from the main village, a pleasant walk down the hill better for people who enjoy a walking, we mainly cooked ourselves most nights. Lovely touches with a bottle of wine and oranges to make your own fresh juice every morning, yummy! Our only issue was with the bed we love the comfort of our own bed as we get back and shoulder issues we found this bed a too firm for our sleep and backs. The house was a little cold at night but that’s because it was April there is heating and a fire to warm yourselves up in the evenings..."

"...Awesome. Such a beautiful location with well-tended private outside spaces galore with amazing views and all the amenities you could need inside. We particularly appreciated the varied self-catered coffee options! It’s a pleasant 10minute walk downhill to the village of Fornalutx (and 15-20minutes return), which is well plied with friendly cafes/restaurants and a supermarket. The hosts were attentive and thoughtful; communicating well and guiding us to the accommodation. And supplying fresh oranges and a bottle of local wine as thoughtful gifts. THANK YOU!..."

"...Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à House Mirador, qui porte bien son nom: la vue est magique, avec belle surprise supplémentaire une belle vue jusque sur la mer! La maison est confortable, bien qu'en cas de mauvais temps, l'usage du poêle dans le séjour soit recommandé au petit matin (ce qui ajoute un agrément à tout ce décor montagneux). BEWARE, The difficulty was that the entrance to the property very narrow and complicated to maneuver the car in. There is good street parking though. We enjoyed our stay and do recommend the house. "...We did not have a chance to meet Julia but we got all the support we needed from her husband Pepe via whatsapp. The house is very nice. It is not big but is very cozy, has a nice sea view and a cofmortable terrace for breakfasts and dinners. The place is rather remote and very calm. The house has all the necessary appliances, including a dishwasher and an oven. It is airconditioned though we never used it during our stay. There are a few free parking spaces near the house so no problems with that) The area of Deia is amazing! Many good restaurants and cafes, very nice small boutiques in Valdemosa too. But there are no big supermarkets here - just small shops with rather high prices. The best places to buy food for cooking are in Soller (Eroski supermarket) and Palma. The closest beach is a wild one - Escanyaret beach in the Llucalcari area just a hundred meters from the house by feet. This beach is rather hard to reach - you need to hike and climb a little bit (not suitable for children or disabled people) - it is a masterpiece! Very remote, very beautiful, with crystal clear deep water and many picturesque rocks by the sides. It might be hard to get into the water if the waves are too high. But it is worth it. We enjoyed our stay and would defenitely come back!..."

"...We met the owner's daughter Beatriz in Soller and she took us down to the villa. So friendly and welcoming. The villa was immaculate and incredibly spacious with every amenity you could possibly need. Our children aged 12 and 8 absolutely loved the pool. A great size and very private. Gorgeous views of the mountains which can be enjoyed from the balcony, pool or from all windows in the villa. A bowl of fruit on arrival was a lovely thought and enjoyed by us all. Our bedding and towels were changed halfway through the holiday which was appreciated, although we had a very good laundry room for any additional washing. It was a two minute walk to the seafront and there are so many wonderful restaurants and shops. Port de Soller is lovely and quiet and although it was August, never felt crowded. One of the family hired a bike from a nearby rental shop and we took the tram up to Soller town. There are plenty of boat trips and boat hire from the port. The beaches are very pretty, not large but very clean. Julia and Pepe, the owners of the villa kept in touch regularly to ensure we had everything we needed and nothing was any trouble. This is somewhere we would be thrilled to return to - definitely a villa to recommend..."

"...This villa is in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the nearest supermarket and 10 minutes into the centre of Soller. It is very spacious and well equipped. The outside area is extensive with a lovely sized pool and eating area, as well as a large variety of fruit trees where you can pick your own fruit - figs and grapes for breakfast, lemons for your G&T. We were 2 families with teenagers and it suited us perfectly. Thank you so much to you and your daughter for making our stay so enjoyable. It was wonderful to have someone who is so helpful and clearly cares about the clients. We had a wonderful holiday and we all want to thank you for helping to make it so enjoyable x..."

"...We had a week in Villa Suliar with our sons and their girlfriends. It was in a quiet location, within easy walking distance of the centre of Soller, close to a large supermarket and a short tram ride to the beach. The villa was very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The garden was lovely and we were allowed to use the fruit from the orchard. There were lots of shaded sitting areas around the pool and outdoor dining area, and there was a large barbecue which we used. We ate at the villa most days as it was such a wonderful situation. Could not have been better..."

"...We have been 7 friends trying to relax and calm down. The house itself is well equipped and has all kind of stuff you need in an accomondation during a stay in Mallorca. The property itself is equally beautiful with the pool, the terrace and the grill. In contrast to the south of Mallorca Soller is quiet and not too "touristy". Be aware that you need a car if you plan to see anything else of the island..."

Surrounded by citrus trees bursting with fruit ( fresh juice all day!) walk out of your door into the pool, or just walk a few minutes into the delights of Soller. Julia and Pepe were so helpful as were the owners, Juana & Andres fixing the wi-fi with Movistar. The entire holiday was a delight as were everyone concerned. Thank you..."

"...About 500 metres from the port and classic electric small train to Soller. The villa is equipped with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. The issue we had was that the road is directly outside the villa so traffic can be an issue and they use the top of the road to turn round and go back down so you get twice the traffic and noise. In addition the hill is not for the unfit as it is approximately 30-45 degree slope, if you need the excercise and want to use the lungs, heart and legs after a couple of days it does get easier, please be warned. The port itself has over 100 restaurants and the beach is looked after very well. The water is shallow and ideal for children with boats and pederlows available. The villa has air con in nearly all the rooms, the plunge pool is a relief during the 30 plus temperatures. As a group of four adults wishing to relax and enjoy doing very little apart from reading and wifi it was great. Well worth the visit..."

"...Rustic and Charming Mallorcan house with private grounds and beautiful scenery, surrounded by your own private orchard of lemon, orange, apricot and cherry trees. Two well stocked supermarkets within walking distance and a 15 minute walk to the main square in Soller. Lots of restaurants and bars in the town. A short tram ride takes you down to Port Soller which is well worth a visit. Well sited to explore many pretty villages and only a 30 minute car ride from a Palma airport. Plenty of off road parking within a couple of minutes walk if you don't fancy negotiating the narrow lane to the house..."

"...Ett väldigt fint hus med en terass i egen avskildhet med pool och ett flertal sittgrupper som inbjuder till ett privatliv och avkoppling. Huset ligger ca 10 minuters gångväg till Fornalutx med trevliga restauranger och uteserveringar samt några butiker. Finns flera vandringsvägar i området och 5 minuter till staden Soller och ca 40 minuter med bil till Palma. Söker man enskildhet men ändå nära till service så rekommenderas detta ställe..."

"...Lovely 3 bed villa. 2 proper doubles and another room with 2 single beds. Spacious terrace for outdoor dining and lounging with great views of the mountains and valley. Pool, BBQ and all the facilities and equipment you need. This is a very well presented home and a great spot to base yourself in Port de Soller. 10 mins walk (down a reasonably steep hill) to the port with all its restaurants and beauty. Hosts were very accommodating and always on hand if needed. Highly recommended. Thanks for the excellent communication and lovely welcome to Soller for my family and I. Wishing you a good summer season!..."

"...We've just spent a bit over a week at Julia's place and it was the most relaxing time. To be honest the house and especially the garden and pool are even prettier and more romantic in real life. The house has everything you need, but you'll be spending most of your time in the beautiful well kept garden. There are places to sit everywhere so you can escape the sun if you want. We were welcomed with fresh local oranges which are growing all around you. Our 1,5 yr old son enjoyed playing around the pool and dipping his legs in the water. There's a raised edge around the pool so they don't just run in. There are goats and peacocks near the house that you will hear, he loved going on a walk to find and greet them. For us the perfect place to spend a very private holiday. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks you Julia!..."

"...Great house for families. We had 2 children under 6, felt it was very safe for them. Cooler April temps meant we didn't use pool much. Realistically 8/9 min walk to beautiful Soller town, but 5 mins to a huge supermarket. You will want or need for nothing in this house- they have thought of everything and it was immaculately clean. Typically Mallorcan but with modern furniture & accessories from ikea. We picked oranges from tree to make fresh juice every day. Home from home should you want it. Ideal house for young families. Julia & her husband so helpful and arranged an earlier check in as we arrived at noon with 2small kids & 2 elderly grandparents. When We ran out of cooking gas & they were there within an hour. Excellent hosts..."

"...We had a very relaxing week at Julia's place. The house is just as in the photos. We especially enjoyed the outdoors sitting areas. There are many different places to sit and relax, read, eat, look out across the valley, each has it's own character. We also appreciated the various eye-catching decorative features scattered around the property. The pool looked very inviting, but too cold for us this early in March. A 15 minutes walk down to the little village of Fornalutx, nice little square, grocery, great restaurants. Many walks in the hills nearby. Quiet location with a comfortable bed everything you need for a relaxing get-away..."

"...This place was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon! It's right in the heart of historic Palma. Bars and tapas restaurants were right outside of our door, and the house is beautiful, with an amazing view from the rooftop terrace. (A great place to have breakfast in the morning!) We cooked a lot using using the kitchen, but we also took advantage of the close proximity of the amazing restaurants right outside our door. We also loved having a garage in the house, as that allowed us to rent a car to explore the island. (Parking in the city center of Palma is difficult otherwise.) Jaume, the host, very thoughtfully left fig jam, farm fresh eggs, a big jug of water, and a bottle of wine in the refrigerator -- what a lovely surprise! He also made himself readily available if we had questions, and was very accommodating of our schedule, which made checking in and out a breeze. Overall, the house was beautiful and spacious, and also homey and cozy, and Jaume was incredibly nice! We can't wait to come back!..."

"...Cas Carboner was a peaceful and quiet oasis of calm - totally relaxing. Julia was an excellent host with her daughter translating for us and Pepe was always at the end of a What's App to answer any query. The house and the pool were immaculately clean. Being surrounded by lemon and orange trees that we were allowed to pick and juice, the pool had a great setting and a great outlook overlooking the hills above Soller. The proximity of the supermarket (5 minutes walk) was a real bonus as was the closeness of the town in general. It was a delight to meet the owner and his wife and to imbibe the bottle of locally produced wine they gave us too (much appreciated). In short the week provided us with one of our best holidays and we have already enquirered about staying next year..."

Our guest in Villa Caterina: June, 2016.Penny in Villa Caterina
"...This villa is a real home from home, and has everything you could possibly wish for; a large, well-equipped kitchen, spacious living room area, four lovely bedrooms with very comfortable beds, two with en-suite bathrooms, plus another bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs, and a large utility room so that you can do all your washing and ironing - not a high priority while on holiday, though, admittedly! Leading out from the living room area is a huge balcony so that you can sit out in the morning and have breakfast, or have a quiet drink in the evening. The house is arranged so that the barbecue and downstairs dining area is just below this balcony, with plenty of shade during the day. The pool is a good size - bigger than it looks in the photograph - and with stunning views over the countryside. It couldn't be better situated, as it is literally a five minute walk down to the port/beach/harbour/restaurants/bars/shops, so everything is on the doorstep, and yet you can sit on the balcony and look out over the mountainside as if you were in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for a family holiday. I cannot recommend Julia, Beatrice and Pepe highly enough - we had a couple of minor issues when we first arrived, and they sorted these out immediately with courtesy, understanding and kindness. I really felt that their main concern was that they wanted us to have an enjoyable holiday..."
