Mezzo Magic Chartered Sailing
Mezzo Magic Chartered Sailing is the perfect way to see the beautiful coastline of North West Mallorca. We want you to come aboard and enjoy your private 30ft sloop yacht and leave enriched by the experience.
And now you can also enjoy the same magical experience aboard our two 50 foot yachts.
As well as majestic views of this beautiful Balearic island, you may chance upon Mediterranean dolphins. They play in the boat’s wake, tilt their heads to have a good look at you and then effortlessly slip away into the depths; a truly moving experience.
Other wildlife regularly seen include turtles, flying fish, large jumping fish and of course all the native seabirds.
We can tailor your trip to whatever suits your needs. From a few hours at sea enjoying the views, to a tour of the bays with snorkelling and lunch at any one of Mallorca’s many hidden restaurants.
On Pequod and Francessa, you can cruise a little further, possibly to Formentera and see the last original hippies on the beach at sunset, or even for a night out in Ibiza, Menorca, Sardinia or Corsica… we’ll even supply dinner!

Chris Adamson, Skipper
Chris Adamson, left school after attaining A levels and moved out to Australia to study as an Ocean Yachtmaster, and at 19 became one of the youngest people to achieve this accolade in England.
During his training, Chris sailed various vessels on the East Coast of Australia up to the Whitsunday Islands, and clocked up many thousands of miles in the process.
This experience has served him well for the time he’s skippered the Mezzo Magic & Pequod, and you couldn’t be in safer hands when it comes to navigating the turquiose Mediterranean waters.
After his academic success, Chris went back to Southampton to study again and has also achieved the status of RYA Cruising Instructor for Yachts.
Mark Adamson, Skipper
Mark has sailed since starting out on a Mirror dinghy he built at home with his father aged 8.
Many dinghy changes later from National 12’s, Enterprises and Lasers going through Club level and National Racing events he bought the Mezzo Magic on Lake Windermere.
He passed his skipper exams and on the search for more taxing sailing the Mezzo was moved to Amble in Northumberland and spent the next 2 years on the North Sea.
It was then decided to move the Mezzo to warmer climes and now she is settled here in Port Soller enjoying fine sailing conditions and a lovely climate.
There are several secluded bays within easy reach of Port Soller. For starters, you can drop anchor in Cala Deia and go ashore to enjoy lunch at the excellent C’as Patro-March restaurant.
Book ahead and have a paella at the secluded restaurant at Foradada or maybe head north to the fantastic Torrent de Pareis gorge and swim in the warm, sheltered waters.
Another favourite stop-off point is the deserted Cala Tuent where you can meet Tony, a Mallorquin-only speaking resident who lives in a hut here. Tony always has a cold drink for visitors and has been known to cook his own freshly caught fish for you.
For a more traditional excursion there are plenty of traditional restaurants dotted along the coast, a favourite of ours is the fabulous Agapanto restaurant at the opposite end of the Port, right on the beach overlooking the bay.
Longer trips can be arranged to Pollenca or Andraxt/Palma in the south, with voyages to Menorca or Ibiza and Formentera also possible. We carry pilot books for all these destinations, which show the coastline in full detail.
On request, we can also arrange for you to take the coastal walk to Cala Tuent and collect you for a sunset sail home to Port Soller, resting weary feet on the way.
Es Vergeret at Cala Tuent
We often collect groups of hikers off the beach at the lovely Cala Tuent in the cooler months and as in the picture above have a BBQ on the beach before returning to the port on the boat.
In the warmer months a lot of our clients enjoy being dropped off at the very quiet beach by tender and go lunch at Es Vergeret, The restaurant has a larger menu than the restaurant at Sa Foradada but both are really lovely.
This stretch of coast is probably more scenic than south of Soller with the Puig Major being the highest peak on the island lurking just inland. A very sheltered bay with again crystal clear waters to swim in. On the way back to Soller we pass several caves to swim in and even enter with the tender but it gets very dark!
Here we are rafted up at Sa Foradada with long distant views to Port Valledemossa and in the very distance the island of Dragonara the South west corner of Mallorca. This coastline now has UNESCO World Heritage status so is recognised for its outstanding beauty.
The restaurant is located behind and up the cliff behind the camera. Often we are the only people here! The waters are crystal clear with caves to swim in. We come ashore in a small tender and it is a little hike ( 100mtr ) up the cliff to the restaurant.
The same family have lived/fished and cooked here for over 40 years, there is no electricity for them so they have to cook on open fires, giving a lovely smoky scent to the food. Rustic is the theme as you relax and take in this fantastic place. Lidia takes great care of us as her father rustles up paella or simple fish dishes on the open fires…enjoy!
